Lynn Cartwright Appointed as New GM of Programmes and Community Engagement

Starting out at CLM as a Swim School coordinator and working her way up to SwimMagic National Manager, Lynn Cartwright has been a well-respected part of the CLM whanau for over 13 years. Through Lynn’s strong leadership and management skills, SwimMagic has grown to become the largest swim school in the country, with 14 facilities across the nation, but she’s ready for a new challenge. This year, she will be stepping into the position of General Manager of Programmes and Community Engagement.

In her new role, Lynn will drive continual growth in CLM’s core business units; including Fitness by CLM, the Chill Out kids programme, and SwimMagic swim school. With a goal to increase participation and drive efficiency, Lynn’s expertise in the SwimMagic space will give her an edge as she looks to identify and implement streamlined solutions across each of these programmes to ensure maximum benefit for the community.

She will also play a key role in growing the number of funded programs delivered across CLM, overseeing and supporting these projects throughout their phases of conception, application, reporting and delivery.

Speaking on behalf of the CLM team, Craig Carter is excited to see Lynn flourish in her new role, “We all know there are plenty of challenges going forward in the current economic environment, so I am looking forward to Lynn taking our key programmes forward and holding us all accountable.”
