Te Kura Akonga o Manurewa are back playing local school sport for the first time in 20 year. A collaboration between CLM Community Sport and local Papakura Principles meant a team made up of yr 5-6 students competed in the recently held ripper tag tournament at Bruce Pulman Park.

The team made it all the way through to the semi finals before just missing out by golden point to Strathallan school.
