Coaching Update
Coach development:
Over the last 5 weeks CLM Coaching Lead Jason Myks has been joined by a number of other Community Coach Developers to host Coach Developer Self Reviews with a number of community coaches.
Coach Developers (CD) meet with Coaches prior to their session and the coaches inform the CD of the session objectives, outcomes and anything the coach would like the CD to focus on while they deliver the session. After the session the coach informs the CD on how the session went in relation to the pre session discussion. The feedback loop created is a great way for clubs and schools to obtain a quality assurance piece whilst encouraging coaches to have session plans and to action reflective practice after a training session. Thank you to Papakura City Football Club, Manurewa Marlins Rugby League, Manurewa Rugby Club and Otara Scorpions.

Spreading the Good Sports message:
Jason Myks has had a busy couple of months sharing the Good Sports messages with parents and coaches.
These sessions detail how to get the best out of kids and youth based on their feedback.
Congratulations to the following organisations for allowing CLM Community Sport to educate and inspire their coaches and parents.
