Te kai o ngā rangatira

Recently the Aroora crew took out the Whangārei Aquatic Centre management team for a day. The focus was on leadership, team building, and reconnecting as a team and to te taiao.

This involved a dawn paddle up the Hatea river into Mair Park, amongst the beautiful backdrop of the surrounding ngahere, followed by a wānanga on the culturally significant maunga Parihaka. Kōrero was centered on using the Aroora framework to support management practice, personal well being, and rekindling connections after the recent lock down. A visual of the day can be found here.

Although the majority of the Aroora team’s work is based around delivering funded programmes, enquiries are always welcome if you think we can support your kaupapa.
